If you are flying to Disneyland, the good news is you have many options on airlines and airfare due to the number of airports located in Southern California.
The closest airport to Disneyland is the airport at Santa Ana, also known as John Wayne Airport. The other airports in the area include Long Beach, LAX, Ontario, Burbank and even San Diego as a last resort since it is only about 1 hour driving time from Anaheim. SNA – Santa Ana/John Wayne
Santa Ana Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to Disneyland. It is an easy bus ride, cab ride or rental car ride to Disneyland. In fact, Disneyland is 15 miles from the airport and generally takes about 15 minutes to drive depending on traffic conditions. LGB – Long Beach Airport
Long Beach airport is the next closest airport to Disneyland, but the carriers are somewhat limited. The airport itself is located approximately 20 miles from Disneyland and under optimum conditions, the drive should take about 25 minutes. The major carriers that fly into Long Beach include: Alaska, Delta, Jetblue, and U.S. Airways.

LAX – Los Angeles International Airport
LAX Airport is the largest airport in Southern California and has the largest number of carriers. LAX is approximately 35 miles from Disneyland. Driving from LAX to Disneyland will vary due to the traffic conditions in and around the Los Angeles area. Generally, under good conditions, the drive time should be around 35 to 40 minutes. ONT – LA/Ontario International Airport
Ontario is located 35 miles from Disneyland. Since it is on the Eastern side of Los Angeles, the traffic isn’t quite as congested as it can be in the Los Angeles area. The driving time to Disneyland is generally about 30 minutes during non-rush hour traffic. This airport is larger than John Wayne or Bob Hope Airport and the major carriers that fly into Ontario include: AeroMexico, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Great Lakes Airlines, Southwest, United/Ted/United Express and US Airways. Please note that the Disneyland Resort Express does not service this airport. Your options from this airport are the basic ground transportation options including rental cars, cabs, and airport shuttles.

BUR – Bob Hope Airport – Burbank
Burbank Airport now known as Bob Hope Airport isn’t really close to Disneyland being that it is 41 miles away. It is also one of the smaller airports in Southern California, but if the other airport options mentioned above don’t offer the airline or airfare options you require, this airport should be considered. The major carriers that fly into Burbank include: Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United and U.S. Airways.
