Paradise Pier is a step back in time to the days of the great boardwalk amusement parks. In Paradise Pier, you will find thrilling rides and boardwalk games from an era before large theme parks. This section of California Adventure is in the midst changes\upgrades to California Adventure, but there are still many fun attractions within Paradise Pier.
California Screamin'

Disney’s Fastpass Attraction
California Screamin’ is built to emulate the old wooden boardwalk coasters, but this definitely not your Dad’s wooden coaster. This coaster is constructed of steel with plenty of acceleration, hills, drops and even a loop. This is a fun coaster… the ride is fast and smooth, not too scary, and the whole ride is sequenced to music to make the ride a little more thrilling. If you like roller coasters, this is an attraction that you will want to experience again and again.
Toy Story Mania

Join Woody, Buzz and friends on one of the newest California Adventure attractions based on the Toy Story movies. This 3-D ride is very popular, and it allows you to use your launcher to throw\launch rings, darts, eggs at barnyard targets in amazing 3-D with Toy Story characters as your guides. The games resemble the carnival games we all enjoy but with a Toy Story twist.
Malaboomer
Age rating: Kids and up
Height Requirement: 52″ (132 cm) or Taller
This attraction launches you 180 feet into the air at really fast speeds…so fast you may experience zero gravity and bounces you up and down for a thrilling view of the park . On this ride, you can enjoy a thrilling 18 story park view… if you can keep your eyes open!
Mickey’s Fun Wheel

This is a fun ferris wheel that offers a relaxing aerial view of the park. There are two options for this ride. You can choose the gondolas that swing as the wheel turns, or you can choose the less scary static or stationary gondola.

Disney’s Fastpass Attraction
Take a crazy ride in your car as your cruise Mulholland Drive in this wild mouse-type roller coaster. This is a fun ride with edge-of-your-seat turns and the type of hills and dips that are guaranteed to make you loose your stomach. This is a mild and fun coaster for the whole family.
Golden Zephyr

Golden Zephyr
Blast off in your Zephyr rocket as it rises up into the air and takes you round and round in California Adventure.
Silly Symphony Swings
Age rating: Kids and up
Height Requirement: 40″ (106 cm) or Taller
The attraction, a classic swing ride, features chairs suspended from a round, overhead canopy. When the attraction begins, a center cylinder raises the canopy and starts spinning. As it spins faster, riders feel the effects of centrifugal force as their free-moving chairs begin moving outward at an angle.
Jumpin’ Jellyfish

This attraction simulates jellyfish bouncing up and down in a kelp forest within the ocean. The colorful giant jellyfish move slowly up and down 40 feet.

This carousel isn’t your traditional carousel. On King Trition’s Carousel, you can ride a seahorse, whale, dolphin and many other creatures from the depths of King Triton’s domain.

If your kids like boats and firefighting, what could be better than a wet\water playground within a firefighting boat the S.S. rustworthy. On this boat and playground, you can shoot a water cannon, ring the bell, take the wheel and blow the horn until your heart’s content.

This section of Paradise Pier has recently been re-themed to include Disney Characters into the Games of the Boardwalk. These pay to play games are like the games you find on boardwalks and are fun skill games for the whole family. Test your skills and claim you prize!
