In this popular Disneyland log ride attraction you visit the animatronic characters that live in the Briar Patch from the Disney movie “Song of the South”. This is a fun and tranquil journey up until the point your log reaches the peak within the Briar Patch and you take the exhilarating 52-foot plunge into the grand finale bayou bash. Be prepared to get wet and smile for this photo opportunity as you scream during your decent. If you want to ride but don’t want to get soaked, you can buy Disneyland ponchos at most of the larger Disneyland shops.

This attraction is a seasonal attraction, but if you want to experience paddling an Indian canoe around Tom Sawyer Island, you will enjoy this adventure. Please note that this is not a powered attraction and the guests and the guide do indeed paddle the canoes through the river of the America’s. During your canoe adventure, you will have an opportunity to see some of the wildlife attracted to the river as well as a Fort and an Indian settlement.
